FAQ's

• This sounds great! But how much does all this cost?
  Fall Semester (6 meetings)
  • $30 for mom alone.
  • $55 for mom + 1 child
  • $80 for mom + 2 children
  • $90 for mom + 3 or more children
  Spring Semester (10 meetings)
  • $50 for mom alone.
  • $75 for mom + 1 child
  • $100 for mom + 2 children
  • $110 for mom + 3 or more children

  In addition, there is a $24 fee for registration with MOPS International. With registration you will receive many wonderful benefits. Click here to see this year's contents.

  We want MOPS to be available to every mother of preschoolers, so if money is an issue and you need MOPS, please contact our Finance Coordinator. All financial information will be kept confidential.

• What about my kids?
  We have an excellent child care program available. We group children according to age and each class staffed with loving, competent childcare givers.

  Pre-registering your children is required as our classes do fill up. Contact the MOPPETS Coordinator for more information.

• I have a 10 year old that I home school - can I bring him too?
  Unfortunately we are unable to care for children over the age of 6 (or old enough to be in 1st grade). The only exception is an older child (12+) who may assist with the child care. Contact us for more info.

• My daughter threw up this morning, but I really need a break. Can I still come?
  Sure - but you'll have to leave your daughter with someone else. We need to be considerate of others here, and bringing a child that is sick to MOPS only makes it so next week twice as many moms will not be able to come because their kids are now sick.

• I think I'm interested, but may I visit before I decide?
  Yes! We'd love to have you visit one of our meetings! In most cases though you will have to find outside care for your child(ren). Let us know when you'd like to come!

• What happens if there's no room in Moppets?
  You have a couple of options. You can either put your child on the waiting list and wait for a spot to open up or you can find outside childcare and come without your child. There are several MOPS groups in the area, so you could also check those groups to see if there is space available there. To search for nearby groups, click here

• I'm not a Christian. Can I come? Would I feel uncomfortable?
  You are definitely welcomed and encouraged to attend. MOPS is intended for all mothers of preschoolers. If you want, you may visit once with no obligation in order to check out whether this is something for you. Our hope is that you would feel comfortable and included, knowing that everyone else there is a mom, like you, trying to figure out how to raise her child(ren). The Bible and Jesus are mentioned at meetings, but there is no expectation that you hold a certain set of beliefs nor will anyone try to change your beliefs. We meet to encourage, equip, and develop every mother of preschoolers to reach her potential as a woman, mother, and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
